Orthopedic Physician Assistant - Locum Position

Schedule: Mix of clinic, surgery, and call coverage
Pay Rate: $80 - $100 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Physician Assistant to join a busy orthopedic team in Stillwater, OK . This locum opportunity offers a diverse schedule that includes clinic, surgery, and inpatient care , providing an excellent opportunity to enhance your skills in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist the orthopedic surgeon in clinic and surgery (no independent patient schedule)
Perform surgical first assist
Conduct H&Ps, discharge summaries, and rounding
Support 25-30 patients per half-day clinic session
Work alongside a dedicated team including a surgeon, PA, nurse, medical assistant, X-ray tech, and scribe
Call coverage: One day per week & every fifth weekend

Requirements:
Active Oklahoma PA license
Oklahoma prescriptive authority & DEA certificate
Experience in orthopedic surgery and clinical care preferred
