KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for an Orthopedic Technician
The DME Technician is responsible for a facility's durable medical equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Selecting and ordering equipment
- Ensuring equipment delivery
- Test and maintain equipment to ensure proper functionality
- Provide training on the use of equipment
- Participating in educational activities and attending monthly staff meetings
- Maintaining strictest confidentiality; adhering to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations
- Performing other work-related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Certified Ortho Technician (ROT, COT, etc.)
- Knowledge of office procedures
- Ability to operate a computer, computer software, and basic office equipment
- Skill in answering a telephone in a pleasant and helpful manner
- Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instruction
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the public
- Must be well organized and detail-oriented
- Knowledge of Health Insurance and DME authorizations

- Subject to varying and unpredictable situations, occasional pressure, due to multiple calls and inquiries, works inside in climate-controlled office.

Compensation depends on experience but is typically $20-25/hr W2.
