Job Title: Order Management Leader

Pay Type: Hourly, paid weekly

Reports To: Store Manager, Order Management Leader

Job Summary: As the Order & Service Lead at The Golden Hog, you will oversee the customer checkout experience and coordinate the fulfillment of in-store and online orders. This role plays a vital part in delivering excellent service, supporting the cashier team, and ensuring efficient order processing. You will also be expected to assist with or cover cashier duties across the store when operational needs arise. Strong leadership, attention to detail, and adaptability are key for this role.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Front-End & Service:
  • Work with the cashier team to ensure friendly and efficient customer interactions
  • Handle escalated customer concerns and support team training
  • Maintain organized and clean checkout stations and ensure all cash handling procedures are followed
  • Provide register coverage and assist with cashier duties throughout the store when needed
  • Ensure promotional signage and displays are accurate and up to date
  • Deliver break coverage and support during peak hours
Order Management:
  • Oversee daily order fulfillment for online, in-store, and catering orders
  • Coordinate with kitchen, deli, and retail teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Verify each order for completeness and proper presentation before pickup or delivery
  • Communicate with customers regarding order changes, delays, or substitutions
  • Monitor and adjust order flow based on volume and team availability
  • Confidently use POS and order management systems, and support team training
  • Monitor front-end supplies (bags, tape, labels, etc.) and notify management of needs
  • Participate in seasonal campaigns or operational projects
  • Track and report daily order fulfillment metrics, cashier performance, and customer service issues to store management for review and improvement planning
Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience in retail, cashiering, or order fulfillment roles
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Attention to detail and a customer-focused attitude
  • Comfortable using POS and digital tools
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
  • Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and variable shifts
  • Due to special events, you may be required to work on holidays or additional days.
