Notes:
- The Call Center is open from 8 AM to 8 PM.
- Shifts for these candidates can be 10 AM-7 PM, 9 AM-6 PM, or 8 AM-5 PM (flexible).
Must Haves:
- 2-3 years of experience in a help desk, service desk, sales, or call center environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite - advanced skills in MS Outlook and MS Excel.
- Experience in:
- Order Entry/Order Management
- Understanding of shipping terms
- Strong reliability, ownership, and proactive problem-solving skills.
Plusses:
- Sales experience within a call center environment.
- Automotive industry experience.
- Experience using Salesforce and/or New Voice Media.
- Advanced MS Excel skills (v-lookups, pivot tables, conditional formatting).
- Experience with ERP systems (order side, not procurement side).
- Experience with MRP systems.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Insight Global is looking for a Sales Desk Professional for a commercial vehicle supplier in Hebron, KY. This position is client-facing and involves processing and managing customer orders and developing customer relationships. Responsibilities include negotiating and/or adjusting delivery dates with customers, ensuring continuity in supply, reporting customer order fulfillment, resolving logistic claims, and cooperating with production & material planning teams.
Daily Activities Breakdown:
- Answering inbound calls - 30%
- Responding to customer emails - 30%
- Adding orders, verifying inventory, verifying pricing, tracking information for orders, and entering data into SAP - 40%
Main Roles and Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming customer phone calls and provide professional first-class sales support.
- Receive and process orders on behalf of customers efficiently and accurately, provide order status updates, monitor customer orders, and negotiate and adjust delivery dates with customers.
- Work with customers to meet customer service fill rate goals and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Interface with customers and Key Account Managers to resolve issues affecting customer satisfaction and support key customer account activities.
