Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and self-starting Full-Time Oral Surgeon to join our dynamic practice. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality surgical care. As part of our team, you'll perform a variety of oral and maxillofacial procedures while contributing to the development and success of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, including dental implants, wisdom teeth extractions, bone grafting, orthognathic (jaw) surgery, and facial trauma management.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, provide accurate diagnoses, and determine the best course of surgical treatment.
- Manage pre- and post-operative care, ensuring clear communication with patients about their procedures and recovery.
- Collaborate with the dental and medical teams to create tailored treatment plans that meet the specific needs of patients.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy, ensuring that every patient feels comfortable and well cared for.
- Actively seek opportunities to improve office processes, enhance patient flow, and optimize overall practice efficiency.
- Stay up to date on the latest advancements in oral and maxillofacial surgery and related technologies.
Qualifications:
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
- Completion of an accredited oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
- Proven experience performing a broad range of oral and facial surgical procedures.
- Self-starter with excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Ability to handle complex and challenging cases while maintaining a compassionate approach.
