The Oracle WebLogic Administrator for Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) Applications is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Oracle WebLogic Server environments hosting OUAF-based applications, such as Oracle Customer Care and Billing (CC&B), and Meter Data Management (MDM). This role ensures the stability, performance, and security of these utility-specific applications in development, testing, and production environments while collaborating with development, database, and infrastructure teams.

The ideal candidate will have: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field of study, from an accredited college or university. In lieu of a degree, equivalent combination of education, experience or certifications may be substitutable on a 1:1 basis;
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience overseeing complex environments or advanced application experience with understanding of functional processes;
- Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware components (e.g., SOA Suite, Oracle Service Bus) integrated with OUAF applications.
- Preferred (or Willing to learn): Knowledge of OUAF-based applications (e.g., CC&B, MDM) deployment and administration.
- Expertise in WebLogic Server administration, including domain setup, clustering, and performance tuning for OUAF applications.
- Experienced installing and maintaining J2EE applications
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with developers, database administrators, and business stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset for troubleshooting complex issues in WebLogic and OUAF environments.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage production incidents effectively.

Salary Range: $79,369.00 - $109,132.81 annually (Commensurate on experience)

Please see below a complete Job description for this position. Job Purpose: Maintains the integrity, availability, accessibility, and current patch levels of various system applications. Serves as application technical point of contact between the technical team and the business partners both technical and functional) for the identification and resolution of issues related to various applications.
Primary Functions: - Install,configure, and maintain Oracle WebLogic Server 12c for OUAF-basedapplications in native installation mode.
- ManageWebLogic domains, including Administration Servers, Managed Servers, andclusters, to support OUAF applications like CC&B, MDM
- Deployand troubleshoot OUAF application EAR files using WebLogic AdministrationConsole or WLST scripts.
- ConfigureWebLogic resources, including JDBC data sources, JMS queues, and JNDIsettings, ensuring connectivity to Oracle databases.
- Applypatches and upgrades for WebLogic Server and OUAF applications, ensuringcompatibility and compliance with Oracle support guidelines.
- OptimizeWebLogic Server performance by tuning JVM parameters (e.g., heap size,garbage collection) and connection pools.
- Implementsecurity configurations, including SSL, OUAF keystore setup, andintegration with LDAP
- Automateadministrative tasks using WebLogic Scripting Tool (WLST), Python, orshell scripts
- Monitorapplication health and WebLogic Server metrics using tools like OracleEnterprise Manager or Splunk, analyzing logs for errors and performanceissues.
- ConfigureNode Manager for remote server management and high availability.
- Supportapplication deployments, including version control, release management.
- Troubleshootissues related to WebLogic Server, OUAF framework components databaseconnectivity, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Ensurecompliance with utility industry regulations and organizational securitypolicies.
- Provideon-call support for production OUAF environments and perform maintenancetasks during scheduled windows.
Technical Requirements:
- Expertisein WebLogic Server administration, including domain setup, clustering, andperformance tuning for OUAF applications.
- Proficiencyin deploying EAR files and configuring JDBC, JMS, JNDI.
- Experiencewith WLST, Python, or shell scripting for automation of WebLogic tasks.
- Familiaritywith Oracle databases and connectivity setup like JDBC configuration withOracle RAC
- Knowledgeof security configurations, including OUAF keystore, SSL
- Experiencewith operating systems (Linux, UNIX, Windows) and virtualizationplatforms
- Familiaritywith in monitoring tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager,Splunk for OUAF and WebLogic environments.
- Willingto learn OUAF patch application processes and version controlstandards.
Ability to:
- Take on new system assignments and learn new technologies.
- Research and pilot new technologies;
- Research and introduce new versions of relevant applications;
- Implement security controls with industry approved tools;
- Research and implement monitoring tools;
- Respond 24/7/365; as scheduled for on-call support;
- Make arithmetic computations using whole numbers, fractions and decimals, compute rates, ratio and percentages;
- Use Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.) and use standard office equipment (computer, telephone, etc.).
Education/ Certification/ Years of Experience Requirements:
