Job Summary

The Oracle HCM Functional Analyst is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the Human Capital Management (HCM) system, supporting HR, payroll, and workforce analytics. This role performs complex system configurations, advanced data analysis, and high-level problem-solving to enhance HR technology solutions. The Senior HRIS Analyst serves as a technical subject matter expert and strategic partner, collaborating with HR leadership, IT teams, and business stakeholders to improve system functionality and data-driven decision-making.

Essential Functions
  • Leads HRIS projects, including data collection, system design, development specifications, testing, implementation, and post-launch support.
  • Ensures data integrity, accuracy, and compliance by performing audits, monitoring workforce data quality, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Manages system configuration changes, including updates, automations, and workflow enhancements, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Collaborates with HR, payroll, and IT teams to identify requirements, troubleshoot system issues, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency.
  • Executes system upgrades and patches, conducting thorough testing, impact analysis, and implementation strategies to minimize disruptions.
  • Delivers workforce analytics and reporting, translating HR data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
  • Provides upper-tier customer support for field HR teams and business leaders, resolving complex technical and system-related inquiries.
  • Develops and delivers HRIS training programs, ensuring users understand system functionalities, security protocols, and process improvements.
  • Maintains system security and user access controls, ensuring compliance with Internal Audit expectations and data protection policies.
  • Manages and executes mass data uploads, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to HR policies and data governance standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field required
  • 4-6 years of experience in HRIS administration, system implementation, or HCM analytics required
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience with HR technology platforms such as UKG, Oracle, SAP SuccessFactors, or ADP required
  • Experience with system security, compliance reporting, and HR technology governance preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong expertise in HRIS functionality, data integrity, and system security.
  • Advanced skills in system configuration, workflow automation, and HR data analytics.
  • Strong knowledge of HCM systems, payroll integrations, and workforce management processes.
  • Ability to analyze workforce trends and develop strategic recommendations for HR leadership.
  • Experience leading HR technology projects, including system upgrades, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, reporting tools, and HRIS dashboard development.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, working with HR, IT, and business teams.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Certification in HRIS or HCM platforms (e.g., UKG Pro, Oracle, SAP SuccessFactors, UltiPro, SHRM-CP, or PHR) preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification-IASSC preferred
