Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Oracle EBS Developer with strong expertise in the Finance module to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of hands-on experience in developing and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) solutions, particularly in the Finance domain, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on critical ERP projects in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and support Oracle EBS solutions for the Finance module, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management.
- Customize and enhance Oracle EBS Financials functionality based on business requirements, including customizations for forms, reports, workflows, and integration points.
- Develop and implement PL/SQL scripts, forms, reports (using XML Publisher), and custom applications within the Oracle EBS Finance module.
- Work with Oracle Applications Framework (OAF), ADF (Application Development Framework), and Forms for custom user interface development.
- Design, develop, and maintain interfaces between Oracle EBS and other internal and external systems using Oracle APIs, Web Services, BPEL, and other integration tools.
- Perform data migrations from legacy systems to Oracle EBS, ensuring data integrity and smooth system transitions.
- Participate in Oracle EBS upgrades, patches, and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and maintaining system performance.
- Provide technical troubleshooting and resolution for any issues related to the Finance module, including performance tuning and optimization.
- Work closely with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement security configurations and manage user access roles and permissions in accordance with best practices and organizational policies.
- Create and manage end-user reports and dashboards for financial operations, leveraging tools like Oracle Discoverer, XML Publisher, and OTBI.
- Conduct unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT) for customizations and enhancements.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, best practices, and new features in Oracle EBS Finance and implement them where relevant.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) development, with a focus on the Finance module (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management).
- Strong expertise in Oracle EBS Finance applications, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management.
- Proficiency in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, and XML Publisher for custom development and report generation.
- Experience with Oracle Applications Framework (OAF) and ADF for custom user interface development.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS Integration methods, including Web Services, APIs, BPEL, and EDI for data interchange between systems.
- Hands-on experience in Oracle EBS patching and upgrades, including customizations migration to newer versions.
- Knowledge of Oracle Financials Security, including role-based access control, user responsibilities, and data security practices.
- Solid understanding of financial processes and accounting principles as they apply within Oracle EBS.
- Experience with data migration from legacy systems to Oracle EBS, ensuring smooth data transition and integrity.
- Experience in troubleshooting and debugging issues in Oracle EBS Financials and providing resolutions.
- Ability to collaborate with business analysts, functional teams, and other technical teams to ensure the solution meets business requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related fields.
Preferred Skills:
- Oracle EBS R12 Certification in Financial modules or related areas.
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud solutions and integration between Oracle EBS and cloud-based applications.
- Experience with Oracle WebLogic, SOA Suite, or other Oracle middleware products.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum project management methodology.
- Exposure to Oracle Discoverer, Oracle BI Publisher, or Oracle OTBI for reporting.
- Experience with Financial reporting using Oracle EBS tools and PL/SQL.
