We're Hiring: Senior Oracle Database Administrator (Contract Role) Location: Austin, Texas 78751 Duration: 3 Months + We're looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join a dynamic team supporting mission-critical applications and data environments for a major government agency. This is a hands-on role requiring deep expertise in Oracle database performance tuning, logical and physical data modeling, and database optimization. You'll be part of the Administrative Applications Production Data Services team, providing operational support, performance enhancements, and ensuring data integrity across complex systems. Key Skills Required: 6+ years of Oracle DB design, performance tuning, and structures Strong experience with Agile, SDLC, and enterprise application design Hands-on with Oracle Stored Procedures, Functions, and scripting Exposure to multi-tier architecture and data warehousing Oracle certification (preferred) You'll be: Optimizing Oracle databases Supporting production, dev, and UAT environments Collaborating on data modeling and performance tuning Participating in on-call support rotation If you're a proactive Oracle DBA who thrives in complex data environments and values public sector impact - we'd love to hear from you.
