Oracle Database Developer-
WASHINGTON, DC (LOCALS ONLY)

MINIMUM 3 DAYS ON SITE
  • Need for the team to design some of the databases in Oracle- merging IFC and IBRD functionalities for timesheets (the two halves of the bank), so looking for someone who is capable of helping with that
  • Design of oracle databases, structures, views- if any issues with perfomrances, be able to finetune those queries, etc
  • At least mid level to senior- the team is lacking oracle skill set
  • Will be helping with both design and implementation- someone who can understand the functionalities pretty quickly and hit the ground running
  • A true blue oracle database dev- if a person has cloud experience that's a nice to have but not necessary
  • Don't really need to interact with peoplesoft
  • Experience working with web apps and how those overlay on oracle that would be super helpful (angular, any kind of ms technologies, etc)
  • Will extend long term
  • IV process- one teams iv
  • Would help if the person has worked on large/enterprise implementations
Job Description
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Design data structure in Oracle database and develop Oracle PL/SQL programs to implement. Experience with cloud implementations is preferred

• Support implementation of features based on UXM team recommendations

• Prepare test cases and conduct unit/system testing prior to deployment

• Provide resolution of bugs and enhance the product during stabilization phase

• Participate in team meetings regularly and work closely with other ITS team members for the product development and deployment

Minimum Selection Criteria:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related disciplines, combined with 10 years of relevant programming experience

• Strong SQL knowledge and extensive experience developing and debugging complex queries

• Extensive experience with Oracle PL/SQL and generating XML data using PL/SQL APIs

• Detail-oriented, organized, with analytical and problem-solving skills

• Capacity to work simultaneously on a variety of issues and tasks independently, adjusting to priorities and achieving results with agreed objectives and deadlines.

• Positive attitude towards new challenges; proactive; strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively in multicultural teams.

Technical Skills: Oracle PL/SQL, XML, XSL, HTML, PeopleSoft 9.2, PeopleTools 8.57/8.58, Integration Tools and Technologies, Familiarity with Angular framework
