Oracle Cloud Tech Lead

Location: Charlotte, NC (On-site)

Duration: Contract through December 2025


Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Oracle Cloud Tech Lead to join their team in Charlotte, NC. This is a contract position with a duration through December 2025. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for driving cross-functional solution design, leading complex integrations, and mentoring fellow team members. Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional and cross-technology solution design discussions.
  • Review and/or develop integration strategy documents and technical specifications to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with the overall ERP solution.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Platform as a Service (PaaS).
  • Facilitate communication between onshore and offshore teams to ensure configuration and development activities meet the solution requirements.
  • Offer implementation options for new system features that enable strategic business capabilities.
  • Utilize technology as a key competitive advantage by evaluating and implementing technical innovations.
  • Define solution footprint for prospects, both as part of proposal responses and on-site discovery or other working sessions.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate scoping for timely project delivery, including estimating time frames, resource requirements, and risk management.
  • Act as a mentor to Leads and Analysts.
  • Contribute to our client's Oracle Cloud communities regarding capabilities, knowledge, and solutions.

Required Skills:

  • 12+ years of experience developing solutions with Oracle Cloud, Oracle Integration Cloud Service (OICS), and Oracle Platform as a Service (PaaS).
  • Proven experience working on at least 3-4 Oracle Cloud or Multi-Pillar projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop VBCS applications from scratch, including multiple screens.
  • Extensive experience in designing and solutioning complex OIC integrations, including Oracle Adapters, FTP Adapters, Database Adapters, and SOAP/REST Adapters.
  • Extensive experience in working with OTBI & BIP reports and integrating them into OIC.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud HCM modules, including Core HR, Compensation, and Benefits.
  • Implementation experience with Oracle Cloud HCM modules
  • Understanding of HCM data models and integration patterns.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical HCM solutions.
  • Knowledge of ATP database and SQL/PLSQL experience.
  • Experience designing overall Oracle Cloud solutions, including complementary vendors and integrations based on business requirements and impact on boundary systems.
  • Working knowledge of Cloud Configuration.
  • Primary Modules: Integrating with Oracle Cloud HCM.
  • Secondary Modules: Integrating with Oracle Cloud Finance.
  • Strong consulting experience and business analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
  • Experience with implementations in global environments or international experience.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Professional Certificates: Agile Leadership Network, Agile Alliance.
  • Experience with MS Project, PowerPoint, and online Agile Collaboration Tools such as Jira or Rally.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Two+ active Oracle Cloud Certifications, including Oracle Integration Cloud.
  • Willingness to travel for key events.
