About the team and position

You'll need to be super approachable and always willing to go above and beyond to help Accounting and Finance teams with their business needs and problems. It could be as simple as working with an end user to resolve application issues to as complicated as working with engineers/product owners to enhance the application.

What you'll be doing
  • Data extraction and Building reporting data structures, data models in Oracle PaaS and SQL Data Warehouse
  • Help the business team in automating processes or build new integrations between Oracle Financials Cloud and third party systems using Oracle Integration Cloud and PaaS database
  • Build data extracts using BICC and integrate with PaaS and MS SQL Server
  • Create BI reports in Oracle SaaS to help the business team with their reporting needs
  • Develop integrations using Web Services/SOAP/REST APIs
  • Develop ad hoc SQL queries as well as support the existing SQL queries per business requirements
  • Develop a deep understanding of our departmental data and data processes from various systems and sources across the organization
  • Partner with end-users to understand their requirements. Ensure buy-in with a new process/ integration
  • Work cross functionally with other data teams across the organization to ensure alignment with organizational best practices
  • Assist in training and upskilling team members
  • Assist in other ad-hoc analytics projects or duties as assigned
What you should have
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is preferred
  • 3+ years professional experience in data, integrations, reporting, and analytics
  • 2+ years of experience in building integrations with Oracle Financials using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • 2+ years of experience in Oracle BI, OTBI reporting tools
  • Experience on BICC, Oracle Data Integrator Cloud tools and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a plus
  • Experience on developing integrations using Oracle PaaS or any similar cloud DB
  • Experience in building integrations using Web Services/SOAP/REST APIs
  • Expertise in PLSQL
  • Experience on Visual basic Cloud Service (VBCS) and Python is a plus
  • Curiosity to continue learning new analytical methods and tools
  • You are a self-starter with the ability to lead and build trust quickly
  • Capable of managing competing priorities and the ability to work with ambiguity
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to present and articulate data stories to leaders at various levels
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent in Agile Methodology and a Team Player
