Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is looking for a Mission Systems (MS) Optical Sensors Manager and Radio Frequency (RF) Manager on the Air Proprietary 2 (AP2) Program located in Berkeley, MO.
This requisition aims to fill two manager positions Optical Sensors Manager & Radio Frequency (RF) Sensors Manager through this posting.

Position Responsibilities:
Leads team members performing engineering and technical activities in the areas of Electronic and Electrical Engineering.
Mentoring and coaching all levels of engineers providing knowledge transfer to aid in growing our next generation of leaders and engineers
Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees.
Provides specific guidance to team members to ensure effective performance.
Demonstrates basic ability to state what is needed to persuade and convince others without causing defensiveness and to inspire others to take action.
Builds relationships to gain support and commitment from others, promotes ideas with enthusiasm and conviction.
Be responsible for overall planning, execution, and success of complex projects.
Forecast resource needs and hire/develop appropriate personnel to meet project and daily operating requirements.
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
The ability to obtain Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering or technical field
5+ years of related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated experience communicating effectively at multiple levels (direct reports, peers, executive leaders, and customers)
Proven track record of execution in a development environment
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience supporting a Proprietary Program
Technical experience in complex mission systems development and integration on tactical aircraft
Experience applying Program Management Best Practices (PMBPs) to include project planning / scheduling and applying Earned Value Management (EVM).
Experience executing in an Agile work environment and implementing Agile Methodologies
Experience working in MSOSA, Cameo, or similar Model Based Systems Engineering tools
Experience across multiple phases of the product life-cycle
Experience with Mission Systems Open Architecture Standards

Typical Summary pay range: $137,700 - $186,300
