MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : + Must be willing and able to work weekends and holidays as needed + Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills. + Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). + Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently. + Successful completion of the due diligence process to include, but not limited to, a Level II background check and drug test. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: + Administrative and/or clerical experience working in an office environment. + Experience creating documents, maintaining files, and keeping records. + Experience in human resources and/or working with confidential employee information and/or data. POSITION DESCRIPTION : This position reports to the Nursing Home Administrator and provides professional administrative support, to human resources, medical records, and other administrative offices within the state veteran nursing home. + Communicate with others to obtain and verify information. + Follow written and verbal directions and instructions. + Maintain a positive approach and strong work ethic. + Problem solving and effective decision making. + Work independently, exercise judgment with self-discipline, and take appropriate initiative. + Perform other related duties as required. This position is in the Other Personnel Services (OPS - Temporary) system.
