OPS Career Service Assistant Opportunity



Tallahassee State College (TSC), recently recognized as one of the Most Promising Places to Work in Community Colleges for 2025 , is excited to announce a part-time opportunity for the position of OPS Career Service Assistant with Other Personnel - Career Center.

What You'll Do
The OPS Career Service Assistant assists Career Services Manager with career and professional development services. Assists with career development programming, including workshops and seminars and develops relationships with students, employers, faculty, staff, alumni, and community partners. The day-to-day responsibilities will include:


Assists Career Services Manager with development, planning, execution, and facilitates career planning and professional development programs and events such as workshops and seminars.

Assists Career Services Manager with marketing and promoting department services to students through various media (MyTSC posting, email, presentation, orientations, online, event).

Manage Career Services page on MyTSC

Review uploaded student resumes in FutureLink

Review employer registrations in FutureLink

Review new jobs and internships posted in FutureLink

Monitor and respond to messages in Career Services email

Lead student FutureLink engagement project

Provide resume and cover letter review career advising appointments

Table in Student Union to increase visibility of Career Services and promote events

Manage Career Services Comms including Career Serv Email, Career Serv Calendar, TDX Tickets, MyTSC career services group


Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, totaling 25 hours per week

Graduation from a standard high school or equivalency diploma.

Three years of progressively responsible clerical experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
