The Department of Ophthalmology at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System is seeking a gifted Ophthalmologist with fellowship training in the subspecialty in Glaucoma. This individual will be joining a faculty that includes comprehensive ophthalmologists along with subspecialists in glaucoma, neuro-ophthalmology, uveitis and vitreoretinal surgery.
The qualified candidate should be able to perform a broad range of glaucoma and cataract ophthalmologic procedures and be able to provide a recent case list for review. The applicant must be eligible for Minnesota medical licensure. The Minneapolis VA Health Care System is one of the largest VA ophthalmology programs in the United States. Applicants must be an M.D. or D.O., be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology, eligible for an academic appointment at the University of Minnesota and interested in resident training.

Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)
