Hyperion Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Machine Operator for our Los Angeles, CA location, supporting our EECO brand. Hyperion is constantly looking for talented, self-motivated, skilled team members to join our team. Reporting to our Production Supervisor, this position plays an integral part on the team by assisting in our goal of building high quality elevator components. Primary Responsibilities: Production Operations: o Adherent to assigned production schedule o Operates and monitor machine performance, ensuring proper function and efficiency o Perform assembly tasks according to established procedures and specifications. o Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to assemble parts or components. o Verify workpiece conformation to specification using measuring instruments Machine Setup and Maintenance: o Perform machine setup and inspect tools to ensure proper operation. o Maintain, organize, and clean equipment and work area to support efficient workflow. o Notify the supervisor of any faulty equipment or defective materials to prevent production delays. Quality Control: o Review finished production to ensure adherence to quality standards
• Safety and Compliance: o Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including the wearing of appropriate personal protective equipment Perform other related duties as assigned Job Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1-2 years of machine operator experience
• Must be proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments such as a tape measure and micrometer
• Requires exercising good judgment and utilizing best machining practices
• Requires attention to detail and the ability to read blueprints
• Ability to safely use and lift equipment weighing up to 35 pounds
• Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for up to 8 hours per day Capabilities: Adaptability: o Approaches change or newness positively. o Adjust to changing procedures for accomplishing work.
