EXPERIENCED PRESS OPERATOR - DAY SHIFT Western Printing - 701 Enterprise St. N, Aberdeen, SD

Looking for candidates with prior press experience.
Key Responsibilities: - Prepare, set up, operate and run print projects on printing press.
- Load and maintain plates; mix inks.
- Read and follow ticket specs to ensure configurations are correct.
- Follow job schedule to insure jobs are timely.
- Run test runs and trials as requested.
- Complete regular quality checks; detect and report defective materials or potential problems.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows safety regulations.
- Performs preventative maintenance on machines as required.
- Oversee team members working as helpers on equipment.
- Must follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) related to job function and follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP'S).
- Must comply with all Company policies.
- Work OT as needed.
Knowledge/Skills: - High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Prior printing press experience is beneficial.
- Ability to learn operations of multiple pieces of press equipment.
- Good organizational and math skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
