Your goal as part of the Product Analysis team within Actuarial Modeling and System is to own implementation of policy values calculations for new product, and maintaining stakeholder engagement with a wide range of areas (actuarial, IT, compliance and legal). You will write and develop system calculations, requirements, and partner with leadership and product owners to understand operational challenges. You will lead development for technical solutions to achieve operational goals and efficiencies by applying knowledge of products, relevant regulations, and administrative systems. Instrumental in implementation of solutions in complex situations.

What you do:

Develop calculation requirements alongside other Operations Technical Analysts, Product Owners, and key stakeholders; create and verify accuracy of a "source of truth" document for product values.
Lead meetings to review technical requirements and facilitate discussions on solution application.
Verify Calculation Library and requirements through creation of mathematical and development testing tools.
Use Agile methodologies, participate in Scrum team(s), and identify impacts/changes to product calculations in Allianz administration systems while evaluating risk and test coverage needed.
Assist with creation of clear, concise test plans; review test evidence in order to ensure test execution was completed as written.
Research and analyze technical administrative opportunities and develop recommendations to improve accuracy, efficiency and compliance through collaboration with key stakeholders and other technical areas.
Assist with training and development of individuals; senior reviewer of others' work.
Participate in key initiatives and special projects as assigned.
Document processes and analysis performed.
Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI).

What you bring:

4 or more years experience required: Relevant technical or insurance experience
Four year degree required or equivalent work experience
Advanced technical skills in the areas of:
Microsoft Excel functionality including Visual Basic for Applications
Product features and mechanics and their administration systems
Modeling of product features
Relevant regulations, mathematical interpretation of policy language
Understanding of basic Actuarial concepts
You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require immigration sponsorship for visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B, L-1, TN, etc). If you are currently on CPT/OPT, you are ineligible due to the need for future immigration sponsorship.

Base Salary Range $58,000-$112,000

Actual base salary may vary based upon factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity of peers, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual incentive program.
