Volt is hiring a Manufacturing Support Specialist for a leading manufacturing organization in Folsom, CA.

As a Manufacturing Support Specialist, you will:

  • Perform physical and administrative tasks related to shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
  • Assist in assembling, filling, measuring, mixing, testing, and verifying the performance of products.
  • Conduct routine testing of assemblies and finished products, interpret results, and perform routine repairs.
  • Inspect raw materials, in-process, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards.
  • Prepare and maintain records and documentation. Enter data into or access information from the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
Physical Demands:

  • Lift and move materials up to 49 pounds each.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing from 15 to 25 pounds.
  • Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
  • Engage in full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists.
  • Walk in and around the facility with great frequency; facilities are over a quarter-mile in length.
  • Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours.
Qualifications:

  • Some higher education or specialized training/certification preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Typically 1-3 years of relevant experience.
This is a full-time Temp to Hire opportunity:

  • Shift: 1st shift
  • Screening: In-person interviews
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6am - 2:30pm
  • Pay: $18 per hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
