Volt is hiring a Manufacturing Support Specialist for a leading manufacturing organization in Folsom, CA.As a Manufacturing Support Specialist, you will:- Perform physical and administrative tasks related to shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
- Assist in assembling, filling, measuring, mixing, testing, and verifying the performance of products.
- Conduct routine testing of assemblies and finished products, interpret results, and perform routine repairs.
- Inspect raw materials, in-process, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards.
- Prepare and maintain records and documentation. Enter data into or access information from the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
Physical Demands:- Lift and move materials up to 49 pounds each.
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing from 15 to 25 pounds.
- Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
- Engage in full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists.
- Walk in and around the facility with great frequency; facilities are over a quarter-mile in length.
- Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours.
Qualifications:- Some higher education or specialized training/certification preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Typically 1-3 years of relevant experience.
This is a full-time Temp to Hire opportunity:- Shift: 1st shift

- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6am - 2:30pm
- Pay: $18 per hour
