Reviews and investigates check orders prior to production to determine authenticity. Helps protect our business, bank relationships and our customers' check orders against check order fraud and reduces the risk of identity theft.



  • Review and investigate DBS, NEBS, Rapid Forms, NEBS Canada, McBee and Safeguard check orders flagged for fraud behaviors , prior to production to determine authenticity of an order . Flag for suspicious activity through a variety of resources and methods. Release, or cancel orders appropriately. Clearly Document actions and decisions taken. Partner with customer service and support, sales and field reps and financial institution contact to validate information.

  • Perform order resolution by placing outbound calls and verifying customer and order information with Customer or financial institutions. Handle incoming phone calls as required. Inform customers what is required to verify if an order can be approved. Inform customer when we are not able to produce order. Guide customer to the solution of cooperating with us to resolve the order, while preserving the business relationship

  • Finds and report trends of fraud behavior, sharing new behaviors to be added to "reg flag list.

  • Protect proprietary processes using discretion while handling escalated calls, that are sensitive in nature. Seek guidance and assistance from Fraud Specialist or Team Lead with orders that are unusual or need a second opinion.


Basic Qualifications (BQs)

Education and Experience: HS/GED plus 2 years' experience in customer support . 1 year CI experience.

Experience with PC and Microsoft Office.


Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

Experience: Prefer experience with Comet, CFS. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent customer service skills.


Additional Basic Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older




Compensation

The compensation range for this position is $16.13 - $26.61 hourly. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.
