Overview The Operations Supervisor is a key position reporting to the Operations Manager overseeing the administrative duties of Interpreters supporting large nationwide language interpretation services program. The Operations Supervisor will ensure the Spanish Interpreter employees are empowered for success by providing necessary training, comprehensive guides. Essential Job Duties Supervises up to 40 Spanish Interpreters across the country. Ensures all assigned candidates and employees follow applicable Resource workflows (e.g., Recruit, Hire/Acquire, Clear, Test/Train, and Qualify processes) Ensures all interpreters within the team possess the qualifications necessary to support the contract. Thoroughly assess initial and ongoing interpreter competencies. Cultivates strong relationships with contract and program leadership to fulfill scheduling requirements and ensure outstanding work performance. Ensures Interpreters are assigned to Operations Coordinators for procurement of available, qualified interpreters within the ready to work (RTW) database Maintains constant communication with Operations Coordinators to better synchronize coverage and avoid no-shows Provides constant direction and monitoring with Operations Coordinators ensuring work orders are serviced by a qualified interpreter Manages reporting on interpreters' performance and tracks incidents and ensures immediate corrective action is taken Creates and distributes usage reports to internal stakeholders Performs other duties as assigned by the Resource Manager and/or the Program Manager Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree or three years' of related administrative or quality management experience supporting a language services or other relatable program. Minimum of two years' of supervisory experience. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Office Software) Preferred Qualifications Bilingual Spanish preferred Experience working in a Government Contractor environment Work Environment Normal office working conditions. Requires periods of non-traditional hours including consecutive nights or weekends when necessary. May require ability to lift/and or move objects or packages of up to 25 lbs. Approximate amount of travel time for the position is 10%.
