Role Description: Operations Specialist

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Operations Specialist to join our team. The Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution and delivery of our logistics services. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a dedication to providing outstanding operational support to both internal teams and external stakeholders.


Shifts: We are seeking a candidate who is willing to be flexible on the shifts and schedule they work including 2nd shift and weekends. Compensation will be determined by qualifications, experience, and shift schedule.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the logistics and operations teams.
  • Assist in coordinating and scheduling transportation services to meet client requirements.
  • Communicate with carriers, drivers, and clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of freight.
  • Monitor shipment status and resolve any issues or delays to maintain service levels.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to transportation activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including business development and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Assist in identifying process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures while promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members and external partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with logistics software is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
