Job Title: Operations Research Analyst Sr SME -5781 Job Location: Colorado Springs Colorado 80914 Job Salary: $200,000 - $225,000 Job Summary Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a highly qualified professional to serve as the Space Systems Command (SSC) liaison to U.S. Space Command (USSPACECOM), joining our diverse, mission-focused team. In this role, you will support the USSPACECOM Warfighter Integration Office (WIO), using your expertise in space operations and DoD acquisitions to lead initiatives that address warfighter needs. Working closely with the WIO Lead, you'll manage communications, define technical and functional requirements, and ensure successful execution of SSC programs under contract. As liaison, you'll coordinate closely with USSPACECOM and operational units to align SSC systems with strategic objectives. You will integrate space capabilities into wargames and exercises, provide feedback to developmental programs, and serve as a subject matter expert on multi-domain space systems. Your efforts will help transition advanced technologies into operational use, supporting Combatant Command missions and priorities. Skills / Experience Required Active TS/SCI security clearance 10+ years of experience in Department of Defense (DoD) space operations Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% Experience supporting Combatant Commands and Service Component Commands Integrate Combatant Command and Space Service Component requirements with current and future space research, development, and procurement programs Provide subject matter expertise in support of space and joint mission areas Support organizing, training, and equipping functions, including, Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) activities, Analyses of Alternatives (AoAs), Concepts of Operation (CONOPs), and Defense acquisition efforts Collaborate with stakeholders to develop innovative solutions that address operational and strategic challenges Prepare and deliver detailed reports and briefings to clients and senior leaders Leverage expertise in operations and defense acquisition to support government acquisition efforts and align space warfighter requirements Provide supervisory guidance and thought leadership to teams supporting critical space missions Knowledge of the Space Systems Command (SSC) organizational structure and mission Strong understanding of DoD requirements and acquisition processes Proven ability to research, develop, organize, and present materials to senior leadership Education / Certifications Master's Degree Benefits Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance Flexible Spending Accounts 401(k) PTO Paid Paternal leave Tuition reimbursement Paid federal holidays Security Clearance Must be a U.S. Citizen.
