Disrupting Traffick is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting survivors of human trafficking and those at risk. We provide direct services and resource connections through a comprehensive Resource Center, Safe House program, and innovative community partnerships. Position Overview

As the Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily functioning of Disrupting Traffick. This includes grant reporting, volunteer coordination, and ensuring the upkeep of the Resource Center. You will monitor program budgets, manage schedules for the hospitality team and hourly staff, and ensure all data and checklists are completed accurately. This is a highly hands-on role requiring both strategic thinking and attention to detail.


Key Responsibilities

Resource Center Operations

  • Ensure food bank and hygiene bank ordering and pickups are completed as scheduled.
  • Oversee open hours for client shopping, maintaining an organized and welcoming environment.
  • Manage cleaning schedules, sorting processes, and inventory updates for the Resource Center, including the pantry, clothing closet, kids' closet, and hygiene items.

Data Tracking & Reporting

  • Track and maintain data such as clients served, items distributed, and volunteer hours.
  • Ensure compliance with social work best practices, grant requirements, and organizational policies.
  • Prepare and update reports on grants, budgets, and insurance policies.

Volunteer Coordination

  • Create and manage volunteer schedules for both the Resource Center and Safe House.
  • Communicate with volunteers regarding duties such as providing meals, welcome kits, and other scheduled tasks.
  • Foster positive and consistent communication across all volunteers and programs.

Safe House Organization

  • Organize the Safe House schedule, ensuring coverage for daytime hours and operational needs.
  • Coordinate communication between volunteers to ensure smooth meal planning, kit preparation, and household maintenance.

Intern Oversight

  • Supervise social work interns, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to professional standards.
  • Facilitate training and support for interns, integrating them into the organization's daily operations.

General Operations Management

  • Maintain and update organizational practices to optimize efficiency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with leadership on resource allocation and operational improvements.
  • Serve as a liaison between programs to ensure consistent communication and shared goals.allocation.

Qualifications

  • Master of Social Work (MSW) required.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proven experience in operations or nonprofit management preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with tracking systems, data management, and grant reporting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a horizontal hierarchy.
  • Experience in victim services
  • Basic understanding of human trafficking
