We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Permanent Operations Manager to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven leader to contribute to our company's success by improving our operational systems, processes, and policies. The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing and plating, and a strong desire to drive efficiency and productivity in all aspects of our operations.

Responsibilities:

As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing and plating departments, ensuring that all processes are running smoothly and efficiently.
2. Developing and implementing operational strategies and objectives to ensure the achievement of the company's goals.
3. Managing resources effectively and efficiently, including personnel, materials, and equipment.
4. Implementing and maintaining quality control standards to ensure adherence to industry regulations and customer requirements.
5. Identifying potential bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the production process and developing solutions to overcome them.
6. Collaborating with other departments, such as Sales, Finance, and HR, to ensure alignment with company objectives.
7. Providing leadership and guidance to team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
8. Reviewing and analyzing performance data to monitor and measure productivity, goal progress, and overall effectiveness.
9. Managing budget and expenditures for the operations department.
10. Ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to and that the company is prepared for any potential operational risks or disruptions.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the manufacturing industry, with a focus on operations management.
2. Proven experience in plating processes, with a thorough understanding of the associated equipment, materials, and safety protocols.
3. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree will be considered an asset.
4. Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a knack for identifying and implementing operational improvements.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization.
7. A strong understanding of quality control standards and regulatory compliance.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems.
9. The ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
10. A commitment to continuous learning and development, with a drive to stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
