About the Role
A growing manufacturing company is looking for a results-driven Operations Manager to lead production, inventory, and purchasing. Your job is simple: make sure the operation runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely while delivering a high-quality product to customers. You'll work closely with the General Manager to set goals, optimize production, and build a strong team.
What You'll Do
- Lead the Team - Hire, train, and develop employees in production, inventory, and purchasing. Ensure they have clear goals, the right tools, and a safe work environment.
- Drive Production Efficiency - Identify bottlenecks, improve processes, and increase output without sacrificing quality.
- Maintain High Standards - Ensure products meet customer expectations while keeping safety and compliance top of mind.
- Optimize Resources - Analyze production data, manage costs, and find ways to improve performance.
- Plan for Growth - Work with leadership to develop a long-term strategy that balances efficiency with expansion.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of production processes, inventory management, and purchasing
- Track record of improving efficiency and driving results
- Experience with metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement (Six Sigma a plus)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- Bachelor's degree preferred
