Job Title: Operations Leader


Job Description: The Operations Leader will be responsible for managing all day-to-day operational activities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This position will oversee the production process, ensuring efficient workflows, product quality, adherence to specifications, and on-time delivery. The role will involve setting daily, weekly, and monthly objectives, communicating them across all levels, and organizing daily operations by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules. The Operations Leader will also analyze operational inefficiencies, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with senior management on process enhancements.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the operations team to ensure production goals and product delivery targets are met in alignment with company policies, ensuring quality products are delivered on time.
  • Utilize problem-solving techniques, teamwork strategies, process optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies to meet or exceed key operational performance metrics.
  • Develop and manage the daily, weekly, and monthly operational schedule to ensure efficient workflow and optimal resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, finance, marketing, customer service, etc.) to ensure smooth operations and resolve any production-related issues effectively.
  • Foster a positive work environment by building strong working relationships and maintaining open, approachable communication with employees.
  • Monitor and maintain operational standards, including quality assurance, performance evaluation, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, applying lean manufacturing principles and operational best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an operations manager or in a similar operational leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of operational management practices, including workflow optimization, quality control, and process improvement.
  • Understanding of quality standards, health and safety regulations, and performance evaluation.
  • Experience in reporting on key operational metrics and performance indicators.
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP software.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to make informed, results-driven decisions.
  • High standards of honesty, integrity, and self-discipline; highly motivated and results-oriented.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing operations, particularly in electronics, is preferred.
  • An undergraduate degree is required; an MBA is preferred.
