Role Description

We are looking for a Operations Coordinator, to oversee the operations of the main office and assist within our labor department. This is a full-time on-site role located in New York, NY.


Responsibilities to include:

  • Answer main phone line and direct to relevant parties
  • Take down information for new event service requests and forward on to relevant team member
  • Answer front doorbell during office hours
  • Receive packages, and coordinate delivery internally
  • Schedule messenger service
  • Order office supplies - As needed in main office
  • Coordinate trash pickup for main office
  • Greet technicians and supervise walk throughs if needed for elevator repair, electricity, etc.

Labor Coordination Responsibilities to include:

  • Contacts personnel for their availability and confirms dates, times, and location of job.
  • Interprets work rules & upholds company standards of conduct with freelance staff.
  • Serve as the liaison between full time staff and freelance staff
  • Assist with payroll and ensure all freelancers' information is up to date
  • Assist with travel and housing logistics for out of town events
  • Resolves crew issues, verifying requirements for each day, confirming availability of crew and increase or decrease staff size as necessary


Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in operations management with a focus on live events
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients, vendors, and other staff members
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
