A dynamic financial services firm in Waltham, MA is seeking a Licensing Specialist for a 6-month hybrid contract role (3 days in-office, 2 remote).This full-time opportunity (Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM) is ideal for candidates interested in the compliance and regulatory side of the financial services industry. The position offers a collaborative and inclusive culture with an emphasis on work/life balance, professional growth, and client-focused service. This role will compensate fromm $25-$27/hourly based on previous experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Process licensing and registration filings with FINRA, SEC, and state regulatory agencies
- Coordinate onboarding and registration for new advisors, assistants, and employees
- Maintain insurance licenses, agent appointments, and renewal submissions
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements while providing high-level customer service
- Support internal departments and financial advisors through accurate and timely communications
- Educate staff and advisors on compliance policies, procedures, and regulatory updates
- Assist with special projects and contribute to process improvement initiatives
Candidate Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated passion for customer service and team collaboration
- Comfortable multitasking and following established procedures across multiple systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to build strong professional relationships
