Operations Assistant - Entry Level
Location: Grand Rapids, MI Full-Time In-Office
Landstar's RBL Agency is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to support our logistics operations team. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for advancement, especially for candidates with prior experience in logistics or freight brokerage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate data entry and records management
- Provide phone and email support to customers and internal teams
- Assist with day-to-day operational tasks and logistics projects
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely shipment processing
- Maintain organized digital and physical documentation
- Support overall team performance with a proactive and positive attitude
Requirements:
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.)
- Prior experience in logistics, brokerage, or transportation is a plus (not required)
- Fluency in English required; Spanish is preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
