Operations Assistant for the Association in Michigan
Part Time - Work from Home/hybrid - 40 hours per month (projected)
Must live in Michigan in one of these counties to attend live events as necessary: Oakland, Wayne, Macomb, Livingston or Genesse.
This position works directly for the Association and does not come with any benefits but a generous wage of up to $25 per hour
The Operation Assistant for NFSA in Michigan is the state coordinator. This position works with and supports the Area Director(s) serving the needs of the membership and promoting the programs and services of NFSA
Job Duties/Responsibilities for Operations Assistant
- Assist with scheduling, planning and coordinating events and 4-6 meetings a year. Attendance at meetings is required to manage the meeting services to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Provide administrative support to the operations team, including managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, preparing reports, and maintaining accurate records
- Support the tracking and reporting of key metrics to monitor and improve operational performance
- Assist with the development and implementation of processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency
- Coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements for Operations Assistant
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethics
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment
Minimum Qualifications for Operations Assistant
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or operations support role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
