Job Summary

As an Operational Technology (OT) Network Technician Lead, you will lead the development and execution of OT technology strategies and roadmaps.

Job Description


We are looking for an OT Network Technician Lead who can align the delivery of our technology services with our Operational Technology (OT) goals and objectives. As an OT technology lead, you will be responsible for acting as the voice of customer for the OT engineering and production teams, ensuring that technology services are delivered with the level of security, reliability, and performance to support them in their work. This position will be full time and onsite (Ennis, TX) and requires occasional travel.


What You'll Do

  • Lead the development and execution of the OT technology strategy and roadmap for the company

  • Inform the strategy and roadmap of all technology services to ensure that OT requirements are considered and delivered in the timeframes required

  • Ensure the delivery of IT services effectively supports OT goals and objectives

  • Contribute to the technology budget and resource planning

  • Supervise the OT technology projects and deliverables

  • Work closely with the IT department and other stakeholders to ensure the integration and alignment of OT and IT systems

  • Review and evaluate the IT services and processes that support the OT functions and operations

  • Establish and enforce the OT technology standards, policies, and best practices

  • Identify and mitigate the OT technology risks and issues

  • Provide technical guidance and support to the OT technology team and clients

  • Stay updated on the latest OT technology trends and innovations


What You'll Need

Required:

  • 5+ years of Network Technicican experience in OT technology

  • Working knowledge of RSLinx and/or FactoryTalk

  • Support experience of network configurations and security, device connectivity, dashboard management, and hands-on device maintenance and troubleshooting

  • Proven track record of leading and delivering successful OT technology projects

  • Strong knowledge of OT technology concepts, protocols, and standards

  • Experience with OT technology platforms, tools, and vendors

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks

  • Occasional travel


Preferred:

  • Certification in OT technology or related field is a plus



Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards.

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor.
