Job overview
We are recruiting an experienced professional to provide strategic and operational leadership for our Children's Therapy Services, which include:
- Occupational Therapy
- Physiotherapy
- Speech and Language Therapy
The successful candidate will ensure service delivery and development are coordinated, high-quality, evidence-based, and integrated.
Main duties of the job
Ensure that children's therapy services are provided according to best practices, in partnership with service users and partner agencies, within a multi-agency system.
Ensure services comply with national and local policies, priorities, regulatory frameworks, and meet performance targets. Oversee reporting requirements to commissioners.
Provide leadership and management to the service, leading a senior team of managers and clinicians. Participate in the operational leadership team and the Trust's out-of-hours on-call system.

The post holder will:
- Manage their allocated services effectively
- Ensure efficient care pathways, including triage, assessment, treatment, and discharge
- Ensure compliance with policies, priorities, and performance targets
- Work with clinical leads to uphold clinical standards and safety
- Lead within a multi-agency network to deliver integrated services and improve outcomes

- Relevant experience in children's therapy services management
