  • Hillcrest Hospital South is a full-service 180-bed hospital providing a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services using state-of-the-art technology in a friendly community setting. Consistent performance has helped the hospital be nationally recognized for patient safety.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for transporting patients to and from the department at the request and direction of licensed personnel.
  • Assist with the daily activities of the OR/ PACU/ OPS/ Surgery departments.
  • Assist in turning over surgical suites, holding extremities, and other duties as assigned.
  • Work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and within the scope of practice in the surgery department by providing direct and indirect care based on individual needs as determined by anesthesia staff.
  • Collaborate with anesthesia staff and prepare OR suites for procedures, maintain orders, stock inventory, calibrate anesthesia machines, and sterilize equipment necessary for the anesthesia staff.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • BLS certification

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • One year of experience in healthcare
