8+ years of IT experience; 5+ years of relevant experience in Virtualization and Cloud Infrastructure.
Need someone with not just operations experience but also implementation/deployment experience - experience with virtual machine management.
Solid cloud infrastructure background and operational, fixing , problem-solving experience especially in RHEL KVM environments.
Software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, packaging, deployment, upgrade and support.
Extensive experience in RHEL KVM virtualization, including configuring and optimizing virtual machines, networking, and high availability.
Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and/or CentOS build, development, and operations.
Strong software development experience in Python, with proven experience in Ansible or Puppet for configuration management.
OpenStack development and operations experience
Must demonstrate knowledge with administrating OpenStack
Must demonstrate knowledge with KVM and provisioning hardware + OS
Strong knowledge on networking and hardware
Description
This group Operates the entire private cloud by using OpenStack.
The team size for the project is around 18 or 19 members, located across India and the US.
The role is a combination of operations and development in a 24/7 model.
The team handles escalations and works on automation and DevOps projects.
The interview structure includes one technical round and one manager round, conducted via Webex.
Will evaluate the performance of the candidates based on sprint deliverables and feedback from the technical team
Intermediate in Python
CI/CD - GitHub/GitHub Actions very important and GitLab would be a plus. They are moving from GitLab to GitHub.
Ansible and Linux are very important.
OpenShift, Kubernetes, network knowledge.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $68.00/hr.
