We are seeking an Opening Kitchen Lead to support the business by communicating with, tracking, training, and coaching all Team Members and mid-level leaders on achieving and exceeding service, quality, and revenue goals. The Opening Kitchen Lead will assist in overseeing employees in the continual pursuit of "Operational Excellence" while creating a positive work culture. The Opening Kitchen Lead reports to the Manager and Director team and serves as an assistant, responsible for running shifts and overseeing reporting employees in either the back-of-house operations.

Pay Type: From $17.50 - $18.50/hr

Position Type:

Full-Time (40+ hours)

Available for Opening Shifts (6:00 AM - 4:00 PM) / (Monday - Saturday)

Working Back-of-House/Kitchen

Qualifications:

Experience as a leader, with 1 year of proven ability to lead in fast-paced environments, and work as part of a team

Basic computer and iPad competency

Ability to input data and interpret the P/L

Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position which includes, but is not limited to standing for up to 10 hours and lifting up to 50lbs

Responsibilities:

Works with Senior Leadership team to ensure appropriate daily and restaurant staffing levels

Ensures that the shifts are running smoothly in the BOH

Trains new Team Members and tracks their performance to ensure they're equipped for success

Maintains a positive working relationship and treats all employees with respect while handling coaching conversations and providing them with direction and feedback

Ensures that all food safety guidelines are followed

Ensures cleanliness of all areas of the restaurant

Motivates Team Members to upsell, reduce waste, and increase accuracy

Serves as subject matter expert of the BOH to provide ongoing support

Responsible for inventory management, and ensures the products are being rotated using the FIFO principle

Protect and demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items

Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality

Follow Chick-fil-A's operational policies and procedures
