Description
The University of Virginia's School of Nursing seeks a qualified researcher for an open rank (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor) tenure track/tenured position, with an anticipated start date as soon as January 2024. As a teacher and scholar, the successful candidate will shape and advance the integration of research foci into clinical practice, education, and health policy. This role will contribute to strengthening and expanding the research infrastructure within the School of Nursing and broader University of Virginia community, building upon the school's strategic priorities, Research Areas of Excellence , and commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration.
Qualifiations
- Candidates must possess a PhD degree in Nursing or other related field, have an active program of successful scholarship, and a history of consistent, substantial external funding.
- For nurse candidates, eligibility for licensure as a Registered Nurse in Virginia is required.
- Joint appointments across UVA may be possible.
