Who we are seeking:
" A candidate with 5+ years in AEC systems architecture, construction technology, or structures project data workflows.
" A systems-minded professional to lead the definition and implementation of FLINT's semantic data layer through a unified Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), linked metadata, and ontology-driven modeling.
" A candidate with experience managing or integrating WBS, cost codes, or schedule breakdowns across platforms.
" A candidate who has the understanding of construction taxonomies (CSI MasterFormat, UniFormat).
" A candidate who has experience modeling entity relationships across BIM, cost, and schedule systems documentation standards.
" A candidate proficient with structure data tools: Excel, Power BI, metadata mapping.
Essential job functions:
" Define and maintain the FLINT Ontology-the semantic model for all construction concepts, relationships, and classifications.
" Build and enforce unified WBS that aligns across design (Revit), schedule (Primavera), cost (Vista ERP), BIM (ACC), documents (Egnyte), and reporting (Power BI).
" Map metadata fields, custom properties, or parameter schemas in each system to ensure alignment with the ontology and WBS.
" Collaborate with data engineers and AI specialists to structure project data into a queryable knowledge graph.
" Create documentation and logic rules that define WBS usage, data hierarchy, and ontological relationships (e.g., wall -> trade -> cost center).
" Partner with project teams to ensure practical implementation of WBS in design, field operations, and cost tracking.
