Skills & Qualifications - Proven experience deploying and configuring security solutions such as vulnerability scanners, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint security monitoring tools.
- Expertise in Azure security architecture, with a strong understanding of IAM, networking, and cloud security best practices.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, security automation, and DevSecOps methodologies.
- Working knowledge of AWS in addition to Azure is preferred.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager.
- Experience with container security and technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Container Instances.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, reporting, and security monitoring dashboards.
- Solid understanding of network security, web protocols, and modern cloud technologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams and influence security decisions.
Education & Experience - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in cloud security, with a strong focus on Azure security architecture and operations.
Certifications (Preferred) - Industry-recognized security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Azure Security Engineer Associate.
- Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, or other security frameworks is a plus.
Technical Skills - Proficiency in Python, Java, C , or Ruby for security automation and scripting.
- Experience with SQL for querying security logs and creating reports.
