Rate : Best competitive rate Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Information Systems and Automation Engineer to join our dynamic Corporate IT team. This team is responsible for deploying, maintaining, and supporting IT systems across our global organization. The ideal candidate will be passionate about improving operational efficiency and productivity by developing automation solutions using PowerShell and Microsoft Power Platform tools. This hybrid role requires on-site support in Westborough, MA (Tuesday through Thursday), with remote work allowed on Mondays and Fridays. Occasional travel to Boston, Woburn, or other locations may be necessary to support end-user IT needs. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and workflows, primarily usingPowerShell and Microsoft Power Platform, integrated withServiceNow. Provide hands-on and remote support for end-user hardware and software, including laptops, printers, and AV/conference room equipment. Serve as the final point of escalation for global client-side technical issues. Maintain the IT hardware asset database and support hardware lifecycle management. Collaborate with Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support teams, providing training, documentation, and technical mentorship. Perform on-site support for IT infrastructure tasks, such as equipment racking and testing. Participate in continuous improvement of IT policies and procedures. Engage with third-party vendors for issue resolution when needed. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in information technology or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum 3 years of experience in a customer-facing IT support role. Strong background in Microsoft end-user technologies (Windows, Microsoft Office, etc. Proven expertise in PowerShell scripting (minimum 3 years Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service abilities. Experience working with ITSM platforms, especially ServiceNow (preferred Familiarity with enterprise IT infrastructure (servers, networks, etc. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and willingness to travel up to 5% as required. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
