Overview

GDC IT Solutions is seeking a hybrid Online Training Developer in the Mechanicsburg, PA area.

Position Overview

As an Online Training Developer you will be responsible for designing, updating, and supporting online training content for the Department of the Navy's Consolidated Card Program Management Division (CCPMD). This hybrid position, based in Mechanicsburg, PA, combines in-office collaboration and remote work to develop, maintain, and deliver high-quality e-learning solutions. You will work closely with government and contractor staff to ensure the accuracy, accessibility, and consistency of training programs supporting Navy charge card operations.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, update, and maintain online training materials and tests using Adobe Captivate, Microsoft PowerPoint, and related tools
  • Record and edit training audio in a quiet environment; equipment provided
  • Ensure consistency across training and testing materials in terms of format, visuals, difficulty, and coverage
  • Participate in team meetings to translate business and policy updates into training content
  • Maintain and manage a large training library (600+ Captivate lessons, 1000+ PowerPoint products)
  • Review and update training materials and certification questions annually
  • Upload and publish training materials using web hosting tools; monitor and troubleshoot basic website issues
  • Serve as liaison to webmasters and customer teams for web platform transitions and data migration
  • Research training best practices to improve delivery and design of learning products
  • Provide user support via help desk (calls/emails), assisting with training access, account creation, and general inquiries
  • Use spreadsheets, databases, and other software to log operational activities and research changes
  • Support process automation initiatives, including pilots using Microsoft Power Automate
  • Assist with uploading transactional data to preserve historical charge card program records
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be able to pass a U.S. Government background check
  • 3+ years of experience developing training using Adobe Captivate
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience managing and navigating large document and training libraries
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply complex policy information
  • Skilled in using web hosting tools to post and manage training content
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time-management, organizational, and project management abilities
  • Proactive, inquisitive, and comfortable working collaboratively and independently
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with financial management or government charge card programs
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Power Automate or other Microsoft Power tools
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint
  • Bachelor's degree
