This facility is a Commission on Cancer certified Cancer Center that conducts multidisciplinary tumor boards every Thursday. The Radiation Oncology department shares a suite with Medical Oncology and Infusion Therapy, creating an integrated cancer care environment. The facility is part of a hospital campus with readily available CT, PET, and MRI services.

Job Details:
- Locum coverage for a busy Radiation Oncology practice due to physician retirement
- Two-physician practice requiring 15 clinic days per month with flexible scheduling
- Specific coverage dates requested throughout August to January
- Weekly chart rounds with the Radiation Oncology team
- 10-15 clinic visits daily with an average of 25 patients between two physicians on the TrueBeam for treatment
- EPIC EHR and ARIA/Eclipse for radiation treatment planning
- Supported by skilled Radiation Therapists and RNs
- On-site dosimetry Full time with pay-per-plan model for high-volume periods
- Hybrid physics model with on-site physicists every other week and remote availability
- On-site CT simulation available
- Required skills include Linear Accelerator, Rapid Arc/VMAT, Electrons, Superficial/Orthovoltage techniques
- Experience with Conventional/Conformal Therapy, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, and SRS required
- Treatment planning expertise needed in conventional planning, beam shaping, 3D CRT, IMRT, PET CT/MRI image fusion, and EPI
- Participation in clinical trials and multidisciplinary tumor boards welcomed
