An established practice in Stockton, CA is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their surgical oncology team. Work alongside a board certified surgeon in a clinic setting, Monday-Friday schedule, no weekends and no on-call duties.
Responsibilities:
Full-time permanent position - surgical oncology
Monday-Friday schedule (9am-5pm)
No weekends, no call
Treat breast cancer, colon cancer, rectal cancer, pancreatic cancer, stomach cancer, skin cancer, liver cancer, etc.
Educate patients and families
Qualifications:
New graduates with a strong interested in oncology are encouraged to apply
Active California Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License (or ability to obtain license)
EMR proficient
Ability to build rapport with new patients and established patients
Ability to adapt to new environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
