A well-established cancer center in Rutland, Vermont is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join its dedicated team. This comprehensive community cancer program cares for patients across a variety of settings, including the outpatient cancer clinic, inpatient units, the emergency room, and through telehealth. The role involves working closely with physicians and nursing colleagues to deliver personalized, patient- and family-centered care. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weeknight call and one weekend of call coverage per month.
Ideal candidates will have at least two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in oncology or a related specialty. A master s degree in nursing or graduation from an accredited physician assistant program is required, along with appropriate Vermont licensure and national certification. The role calls for strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative spirit. Required certifications may include ACLS, PALS, and others depending on departmental needs.
This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $157,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
