Job Title: Permanent Nurse Practitioner - Oncology
The Genesis Cancer Care Institute, accredited by the NAPBC, NQMBC, CoC, and ACOS, is seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated team in the Quad Cities area of Iowa, the largest metropolitan hub along the Mississippi River between Minneapolis and St. Louis.
This opportunity primarily involves providing care at our Davenport location, with potential coverage at our Clinton and Silvis Clinics. Join a collaborative environment where patient and family-centered care is at the forefront, alongside a team of 4 Physicians and 2 Nurse Practitioners.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality oncology care to patients at multiple clinic locations.
- Engage in collaborative, team-based care and treatment.
- Support proactive patient and family education initiatives.
- Participate in treatment planning, patient assessments, and follow-up care.
- Work in conjunction with a hospitalist team to deliver inpatient support.
- Participate in clinical trials and tumor boards as necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Master s and/or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nursing Program.
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner.
- Minimum 3-5 years of Oncology Nurse Practitioner experience required.
- Strong working knowledge of cancer treatments and patient care standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Must hold or be willing to obtain licenses in Iowa and Illinois.
- DEA Verbal Confirmation (or able to obtain prior to start).
- CSR/CDS (or able to obtain prior to start).
