This is anexcellent opportunity to help build a comprehensive oncology program withstrong APP support and a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
Position Details: - Schedule: Monday-Friday, 12-hour day shifts (7:30 AM start)
- Weekends: No weekend coverage required
- Support: On-site APP support; PRN Medical Oncologist on-site one week per month
- Licensure: IMLC accepted
Key Responsibilities: - Provide direct patient care including consultations, admissions, and follow-up care
- Conduct hospital rounding as needed
- Collaborate closely with the APP for consults, follow-ups, and patient management
- Coordinate care with the multidisciplinary cancer team
- Provide coverage when the PRN Medical Oncologist is not on-site
Required Qualifications: - Active Illinois medical license or IMLC
- ACLS and CSR certifications required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology
