This is a full-time academicposition with outstanding opportunities for clinical practice, programmaticleadership, innovation, and research collaboration in the heart of Boston, MA

KeyResponsibilities:
  • Serveas the Medical Oncology Lead for the multidisciplinary Breast Oncology Program.
  • Providepatient care at a central Boston location, with opportunities to expandclinical reach to community offices in suburban Stoneham and Framingham.
  • Participatein the weekly breast cancer-specific multidisciplinary tumor board.
  • Leadcollaboration and programmatic growth across the health system.
  • Shareinpatient oncology and consult service coverage with faculty.
  • Benefitfrom first-call night and weekend coverage by fellows for the practice.
  • Engagein interdisciplinary and translational research collaboration and teaching atall levels of medical education.
  • Supportthe fellowship training program in hematology and medical oncology, whichincludes:
  • Fivefellows per year in a three-year program.
  • Aunique structure with exclusive ambulatory experience in the first year.
  • Mentoredresearch projects during the second and third years.
  • Providecare to a diverse ethnic and economic population, including nearby communities,offering access to cutting-edge cancer treatments and diagnostics.
Requirements:
  • BoardEligible or Board Certified in Medical Oncology.
  • Earlycareer candidates with a focus on Breast Cancer care are especially encouragedto apply.
  • Experiencein the clinical use of chemotherapeutic, targeted biologic, andimmunotherapeutic agents preferred.
  • Researchexperience in clinical trial implementation and execution is a plus.
