HR Onboarding Specialist
LHH is looking for motivated and enthusiastic Onboarding Specialists to join our clients' Human Resources team.
Job Description: As an Employee Onboarding Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our HR department in various functions, including recruitment, training and benefits administration. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in human resources and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Ensure effective onboarding to enhance team member retention.
- Analyze and improve onboarding processes; report to leadership.
- Create and manage a calendar for monthly team member engagement events.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure a productive onboarding experience.
- Share information about company events, trainings, and services.
- Conduct orientation classes for new hires and follow-up sessions for 90-day team members.
- Keep onboarding materials up to date and compliant with policies.
- Support leadership and team members to meet onboarding needs.
- Maintain regular in-person attendance.
- Model core values
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in training, Human Resources, or business culture.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
- Experience in planning and coordinating trainings, meetings, or events.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with patience, humor, and helpfulness.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, if applicable.
Pay Details: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour
