Learning Links, by AbilityPath, is hiring for On-Call Preschool Teachers.

Opportunities available in: Mountain View, Palo Alto, and Burlingame

The On-Call Preschool Teacher works collaboratively with all center team members to implement curriculum and lesson plans in the classroom while supporting our inclusive environment with an emphasis on cognition, behavior, social-emotional development, and kindergarten readiness.

On-calls provide advance availability and are scheduled accordingly based on program needs. Hours and days may vary, Program hours are between 7:30am-6:00pm M-F, any availability between these hours is accepted

ABOUT THE ROLE:
  • Participate in implementation of classroom activities, indoor and outdoor play, snack provision (including allergy awareness and other dietary restrictions) including set-up/clean-up, maintenance, and safety considerations.
  • Model exemplary behavior with children, families, and colleagues
  • Change diapers and assist with self-help skills in the restroom.
  • Engage with children, asking open-ended questions that foster curiosity and encourage involvement in activities.
  • Assist staff with set up, clean up, necessary documentation as it pertains to classroom.
  • Support of classroom teachers with all daily activities
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

Below is a list of Education and Work Experience that would be helpful to have in this role, however, we encourage you to apply even if you may not meet all of the listed qualifications, as any combination of lived and learned education and experience can make you a successful candidate.
  • Experience teaching children ages 0-5 years old preferred
  • Preferred 12+ core ECE units
  • Desired but not required Associate's, Bachelor's or Master's in Early Childhood Education preferred.
  • Desired but not required Early Childhood Education Teaching Credential preferred.

HIRING REQUIREMENTS:
  • Valid California Driver's License/ID
  • Clean Driving Record (if applicable)
  • Proof of negative TB test results
  • Verification of occupational physical clearance
  • Pass a criminal fingerprint clearance
  • 18 years of age or job permit clearance

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY:
